-We faciliate our won rapid prototyping equipment to straightly convert ideas to prototypes. Pls. check with us in advance to supply the correct computer file format.
-Sourcing new materials and new techniques from the market.

5. What is the average lead time (LT) for a prototype in your R & D Department?
Usually we can finish prototypes as per your design & drawing within 20 days.

6. What is the capacity in our prototype department per month?
The capacity in our prototype department ist 30 pcs. per month.

7. What can your moulding department offer?
We create all injection moulds in our own inhouse mould shop to assure secrecy.

8. How do you work on the moulding?
All our moulds are created by using the very latest CNC technology

9. What is the average LT for a mould?
A new mould can be finished within 60-90 days after the prototype has been confirmed.

10. What is the cost of a mould and tooling?
If you request a new style exclusivly for your company/collection we will charge you for the mould cost. Am frame mould ranges from 1.500 USD to 3.000 USD depending on the structure. A temple mould ranges from USD 1.200 to USD 2.000 depending on the structure.

11. What is the capacity in your moulding department per month?
The capacity in our moulding department is 30 sets per month.

12. What are the main processes of a sunglass during production?
-Injection

13. What is a daily normal production capacity in each process?
The capacity of each process in TONY OPTICAL is 10,000 pcs. per day.

14. What is the average LT of production (express in days)?
The average LT of the production is 90-120 days.

15. What are the main materials you use?
For sunglasses the main material is Polyamide like Grilamid TR90, Trogamid CX, Rilsan Clear, Akulon 6.6
Additionally we use TPU, TPE, PP, ABS & PC materials.
